The Parent Partnership Framework Workshop

This workshop is for you -  pediatric SLPs, OTs, and PTs
To learn how to confidently partner with parents -
building meaningful progress through
Hope, Joy, Trust, and Accountability.

You were trained to support children.

You were not trained to support parents —

yet you’re expected to do it every day.

“I know what would help, but I don’t know how to get parents on board.

“I give homework for parents, but t
hey never do it.

“I don’t want to pressure parents — but I also know much more progress the child would make
if parents practiced at home.

“I spend
so much emotional energy trying to support families, but I’m always questioning how to do it because I was never trained to do this.”

“I leave sessions wondering
if I said too much… or not enough.”

If you’ve felt this tension, you are not alone,

and you’re not doing anything wrong.

This is why we created the Parent Partnership Framework, so that you don't have to feel uncertain about how to support parents.

What Participants Will Learn

This is not a typical CE workshop

Most trainings focus on techniques for children. This workshop focuses on the relational work that makes those techniques actually stick.

Instead of scripts and checklists, you’ll practice:

  • real conversations

  • realistic planning

  • compassionate accountability

  • language that supports parents without shaming or rescuing

This is hands-on, reflective, and grounded in real clinical work.

“Exceptional workshop. Engaging, reflective, and immediately applicable to real clinical work.”

— Sarah, Washington, Pediatric SLP in early intervention

This workshop reframes common assumptions

Parent partnership is not about “getting buy-in.”
Accountability is not pressure or blame.
Joy is not a distraction from progress.
Trust is not built by being overly flexible or apologetic.

Partnership is built through clarity, consistency, and care.
Accountability is structure without shame.
Joy supports regulation, learning, and connection.
Trust grows when professionals are confident, grounded, and human.

“Easy to listen to, thoughtful, and incredibly well-structured. I actually enjoyed the small group discussions - which never happens- and all of it was immediately applicable to real clinical work.”

— Sam, California, Pediatric OT in private practice

You’ll leave this workshop able to:

  • Support parents without constantly doubting or burning out

  • Set expectations with clarity and compassion

  • Build trust without people-pleasing

  • Create home carryover that fits real family life

  • Feel more confident in parent conversations

  • See lasting, generalized progress that feels meaningful — not just "structured"

If you want therapy to feel more effective and more human, this workshop is for you.
